Invitamos cordialmente a las familias a unirse a estas reuniones sagradas. Durante las liturgias, se requiere que los estudiantes se sienten con sus respectivas clases.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, San Juan organiza una Misa Familiar trimestral, una ocasi\u00f3n especial durante la Misa dominical de las 10:00 a.m. Cada nivel de grado, desde K-2, 3-5, hasta 6-8, est\u00e1 designado para participar en una de estas inspiradoras misas a lo largo del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Actividades Lit\u00fargicas<\/h3>\n<p>Students in Grades 5 through 8, who have received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion, are warmly invited to partake in meaningful roles as Altar Servers and\/or Lectors (also known as &#8220;readers&#8221;) during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Training sessions are conducted to equip them with the necessary skills to assist our parish priests seamlessly. Upon completion of training, students have the opportunity to sign up for service at both school and parish masses. This involvement not only enhances their understanding of the Mass but also instills a sense of responsibility and connection within the faith community.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stjohntucson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/liturgical-activities-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/figure>\n<h4>Servidores del Altar<\/h4>\n<p>Los servidores del altar desempe\u00f1an un papel crucial en la celebraci\u00f3n fluida de la Misa. Es fundamental que los servidores posean la madurez para comprender y ejecutar sus responsabilidades con excelencia y la reverencia adecuada. El papel que desempe\u00f1an es integral para la experiencia general de la Misa. Por lo tanto, se espera que los servidores mantengan una atenci\u00f3n centrada durante toda la Misa, observando de cerca las acciones del sacerdote y siguiendo el orden prescrito de la Misa. La importancia del papel de los lectores se destaca en las Instrucciones Generales del Misal Romano (GIRM, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s). Seg\u00fan el GIRM:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>Comunicaci\u00f3n Divina:<\/u> During the readings, lectors serve as instruments through which &#8220;God himself speaks to his people.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><u>Proclamaci\u00f3n del Evangelio:<\/u> The GIRM emphasizes that, through the lectors, &#8220;Christ, present in his word, proclaims the Gospel.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dada esta profunda responsabilidad, cuando se leen las Sagradas Escrituras, es crucial que la congregaci\u00f3n escuche atentamente y con reverencia. In addition, St. John hosts a quarterly Family Mass, a special occasion during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. It is essential that servers possess the maturity to comprehend and execute their responsibilities with both excellence and appropriate reverence. The role they fulfill is integral to the overall Mass experience. Therefore, servers are expected to maintain focused attention throughout the entirety of the Mass, closely observing the actions of the Priest and adhering to the prescribed order of the Mass. This attentive and respectful approach ensures a smooth and meaningful worship experience for the entire faith community. Lectors An effective lector possesses the ability to articulate clearly, speaking in a loud, deliberate, and distinct manner. The significance of the role of readers is underscored by the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM). According to the GIRM: Divine Communication: During the readings, lectors serve as instruments through which &#8220;God himself speaks to his people.&#8221; Proclamation of the Gospel: The GIRM emphasizes that, through the lectors, &#8220;Christ, present in his word, proclaims the Gospel.&#8221; If God is speaking to us through the readings, the people should listen closely and reverently.
