Join the Thunder Team!
With sports seasons just around the corner, St. John the Evangelist Catholic School needs coaches to help train and inspire our Thunder student-athletes!
Currently, we have one volleyball coach and two basketball coaches (one available only on Tuesdays and Thursdays). However, to support all of our teams, we need:
- 3 basketball coaches
- 3 volleyball coaches
Without enough coaches, we may need to cut some teams, which would disappoint many eager students. Your help can make a difference!

How to Volunteer:
- Complete the Volunteer Resume
- Visit this link.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Select “Volunteer” in the row for “St. John the Evangelist School (K-8)” (third from the bottom).
- Wait for Contact
- Mrs. Monreal (St. John’s Office Manager) will contact you with further instructions.
- She will begin checking your references.
- Fingerprinting
- Complete or submit fingerprints.
- Alternatively, provide a copy of your fingerprint card to the school.
- Complete Training
- Finish video training and quizzes through the CMG website as a volunteer for St. John’s.
By volunteering as a coach, your family’s required volunteer hours will be completely fulfilled for the year!
